The Builders Exchange of Rochester (ROBEX) is an organization with more than 600 members of the construction industry. The organization was established in 1888 by a group of construction professionals. Members voted for C. W. Voshall as the organization's first-ever president. By 1929, ROBEX established its headquarters at 135 Spring Street. It later moved its operations to 180 Linden Oaks, where it remains today.

The organization serves construction professionals through career-advancing initiatives such as Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification, safety training classes, and discounted programs. Additionally, members can easily search and track projects throughout the bidding process by accessing ROBEX's database.
